New PowerChord Features Introduced

The list of features on STIHL's PowerChord websites just keeps growing and growing. This month, PowerChord announced two new additions:

Full Color, Dual Language Price Tags
Dealer-to-Dealer Classified Ads

About the Dual Language Hang Tags:

No one knows where those disappearing price tags go. Now they are easy to replace. The new "Print Hang Tag" feature allows you to print one preformatted color price tag on a single page. The English version will be displayed on one half of the page and the Spanish translation will print on the other half of the page. Just fold and tape for a new tag. The DSRP price is already included in the tag.

To test drive this new feature simply login to your dealer administration area of the STIHL PowerChord system and click on the "Hang Tags" button at the top of the page:

• Next, select the "Print individual tags" bullet.
• Select any sub-category from the drop down and then click the "Get Products" button.
• A list of available hang tags will then be displayed. Click on the product title to view the individual hang tag.
• To print the hang tag simply click on the "File" drop down in the top left and select the print option.
  

About the New Classified Boards

Have some old parts inventory you would like to turn? Need to find an obsolete part from time to time? Well now it just became easier for STIHL PowerChord dealers to solve these problems! The exciting new classified boards feature allows you to communicate with your fellow PowerChord dealers by submitting postings for old parts you are looking for and parts you have for sale.

To view and/or submit a classified posting of your own, login to your dealer administration area. Click on the "Classifieds" button at the top of the page. You can:

• View your classified postings and postings by all dealers in your territory
• Submit "For Sale" postings
• Submit "Looking for Parts" postings

If you don't have a STIHL PowerChord website, or if you haven't checked into the Administration area of your site lately, you don't know what you're missing! Check the Marketing Resources portion of your 2008 Price List for a complete list of PowerChord features.

New iCademy Module: Handling Angry Customers

Throughout the years customers have become more demanding. Though angry customers and clients represent only a fraction of the customers we see each day, we still need to respond to them with proactive customer service techniques.

This new iCademy module presents a series of actions you may find helpful when handling and resolving the issues of an angry customer.

Heads Up! Weather Channel Letters Have Been Mailed

MAP dealers should be on the lookout for letters that were mailed by The Weather Channel on Monday, March 3rd. The letter provides the MAP participating dealer with the tagging information that will be aired on that dealer's cable systems.

Dealers should review the procedures and details contained in the letter. If there are cable system questions or changes, the dealer should contact TWC directly (1-800-872-9160) and have their STIHL account number available.
